I'm a Software Engineer at Visa. At work I handle container lifecycle on Visa's hybrid cloud. Outside of work, I build things at the intersection of math and computer science, mainly systems, compilers and cryptography related.
Recently I've been continuing with Mamushi, a functional language and compiler in OCaml that runs the whole pipeline from parsing through ANF conversion to x86 code generation that began as a school project for a compilers class. Before that I did independent research into private information retrieval, protocols that let you query a database without the server learning what you asked for.
I got my start in computer science by building Minecraft mods and plugins, and was previously a software engineering co-op at a biotech startup (PhAST Diagnostics), then an intern at Visa.
